Loft conversions for awkward properties
Loft Extension Expert is a service-area business that brings loft conversion expertise to homes across the United Kingdom. A dedicated team of specialists travels to customers, with no shop, showroom, or trade counter to maintain.
How we work
We do not do everything, so we can do each job right. We do not work on lofts in shared ownership, flats, maisonettes, or some blocks of social housing. We do loft conversions, dormer loft conversions, hip-to-gable loft conversions, mansard loft conversions, Velux and rooflight loft conversions, loft conversions with en-suite, bungalow loft conversions, loft staircase and structural design, planning permission and building regulations, loft insulation. We do not design kitchens or bathrooms, so we design the staircase and layout to fit with yours. Planning permission and building regulations are a part of the cost, not a bolt-on.
No council flats
we do not work on flats, maisonettes, or some blocks of social housing.
Complete service
we explain pricing before work starts, and handle staircase design and building approvals.
No night work
loft conversions are daytime work, and we do not disturb anyone's sleep.
Clear limits
if a job is not worth the cost, we'll tell you before we start fixing.
Our service area
Our team works in London, Manchester, and Birmingham, also covering towns such as Bristol, Leeds, and Edinburgh. Areas outside these towns may be possible.
